The Fypon Polyurethane Beam Mantels are decorative interior shelves that is a placeholder for items such as books, picture frames, TV's, etc. They are available in Rough Sawn and Hand Hewn wood grain patterns, adding a rustic feel to many types of homes. Installation is simple, as they can install on drywall, wood, or concrete with a weight load capacity that has been tested by a third-party lab of up to 200 pounds. Crafted from a durable polyurethane finish, beam mantels from Fypon offer a unique opportunity for the designer to create a personal statement that is unique to the room they are creating.

Design Insights: These products are special order and cannot be cancelled, returned, or exchanged for any reason.

Testing by a third-party lab showed a weight load capacity of 200 lbs. when installed according to Fypon Beam Mantel Installation Instructions

Tested to ASTM D1929 - Ignition Temperature Evaluation on Beam Mantel Polyurethane Foam using Foam Resin-R Material

Safe from ignition at a temperature of 300 degrees Celsius or 572 degrees Fahrenheit

Use 100% acrylic latex paint with a Light Reflectance Value (LRV) of 55% or higher must be used

Fypon recommends General Finishes 450 Exterior stain and top coat or Minwax Gel Stain and Minwax topcoat.

If using Minwax Gel stain, it should be cut 2 - 1 with 2 parts stain and 1 part mineral spirits
